Chef Knife CK05

Description

The CK05 Chef Knife is a handcrafted, multi-purpose kitchen knife designed to provide a versatile combination of precision, control, and everyday cutting performance. Its blade is made from AEB-L stainless steel, a high-quality steel known for its toughness, corrosion resistance, and ability to take and maintain a fine edge.

The substantial 8-inch blade provides plenty of cutting surface for a wide range of kitchen tasks, including slicing, chopping, dicing, mincing, and general food preparation. Its versatile size makes it a practical choice as an everyday kitchen knife while still offering the control needed for more detailed cutting work.

The handle is crafted from Spalted Maple, a naturally distinctive hardwood featuring unique grain patterns and contrasting natural markings. The spalted character gives the handle an individual appearance, ensuring that each knife has its own one-of-a-kind combination of grain and color. The natural wood handle also adds warmth and character to the clean lines of the stainless steel blade.

With an overall length of 13.5 inches and a weight of 10.1 ounces, the CK05 has a substantial yet balanced feel in the hand. Its combination of an 8-inch blade and naturally figured wood handle makes it equally suited for everyday cooking and display as a handcrafted kitchen knife.
